Situated in the heart of the Kumaon Hills, Corbett
is comprised of an undulating terrain of Sal Forest, Riverine jungle
and grassland, and is home to an exceptional variety of both Himalayan
and lowland wildlife.
Making use of Elephants and jeeps to explore the reserve itself,
your nights will be spent just outside in a comfortable lodge
on the banks of the kosi River. Rhesus Macaque, common Langur,
Golden, and Hog Deer, and the unusual fish-eating Gharial Crocodile
are all common and regularly seen, while the population of Tiger
normally remains discreet.
